Size GuideThe Mahilaka jacket is made from plain and hand batiked, industrial waste cotton. Featuring asymmetrical layers front and back with signature logo buttons along the centre front made from cow horn that is laser-cut in Ethiopia at a zero-waste horn processing factory that uses the by-products of the meat industry. The shaping on the collar is derived from the petal shapes featured in the textiles throughout this collection.
The prints that feature in this collection were inspired by traditional Swahili prints as well as patterns and symbols that are present in traditional Swahili architecture and jewellery. The batik prints feature symbols derived from jewellery and forms of adornment as well as traditional Swahili architecture.
This item is available on pre-order only between the 24th of Oct - 14th November and will be shipped 6-8 weeks after the order has been placed. All items will be shipped internationally with DHL courier and available for in-store collection or courier delivery locally.
